PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample holder device used for a sample testing machine which automatically loads a test sample card having one or more reagent-filled wells containing fluid samples and, at the same time, performs optical analysis on the samples after causing the samples to react to a reagent. SOLUTION: This sample holder device is provided with a sample tray which has an upper surface section and can be moved freely in the sample testing machine; and a cassette having a plurality of slots for accepting a plurality of test sample cards, and a plurality of test tube holders for receiving a plurality of test tubes engaged with the test sample cards. The test tube holders are register-arranged with the slots. The cassette is accepted by the sample tray in the testing machine, and can be moved freely from the tray and machine so that the cassette may load the test sample cards in the machine on the outside of the machine. |
