PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color image forming device of which attains the reduction of a state in which it is infeasible to perform image forming operation so-called downtime, the reduction of toner consumption for forming a registration control patch, or the reduction of a load of a cleaning member and also the reduction of a waste toner recovering volume by efficiently performing registration control operation to correct color registration deviation caused by temperature rise at the inside of a device main body. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a registration deviation correcting operation performing means to perform registration deviation correcting operation by transferring a pattern for detecting registration deviation formed by each image forming unit on the same member for detecting a pattern and detecting the pattern for detecting the registration deviation transferred on a member thereof for detecting the pattern and a start condition setting means by which the start condition of the registration deviation correcting operation by the registration deviation correcting operation performing means is arbitrarily set. |
