PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately provide useful information regarding correction processing for an exposure driving condition of a light projection element of an image exposure unit. SOLUTION: The image exposure device provided with an exposure head EH constituted by arraying light projection elements corresponding to pixels of image data to be exposed in a horizontal scanning direction, a measuring means LM of measuring the light projection quantity of the light projection element, and an operation condition adjusting means which corrects exposure driving conditions of the respective light projection elements according to the measurement result; and the measuring means LM is constituted to measure the light quantity distribution of the light projection units in a plane crossing the light projection direction. Then this image exposure unit is provided with a measured data managing means MD which displays the light quantity distribution measured by the measuring means LM on a data display means DD while making it correspond to the array state of the light projection elements.
