PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical device for fine particles in liquid capable of accurately measuring the particle size distribution of fine particles such as nano-particles floating in liquid in a short time, and to provide its analytical method. SOLUTION: This analytical device for fine particles in liquid is equipped with a fine liquid drop producing device 3 forming in fine liquid drops liquid supplied from a sample container 1 through a metering pump 2 and forming a fine liquid drop group floating in carrier gas; an evaporator 4 evaporating the liquid component in the fine liquid drop group produced with a fine liquid drop producing device 3 and producing a fine particle group in an aerosol state floating in carrier gas; a differential electric mobility classifier 5 classifying the fine particle group in the aerosol state produced with the evaporator 4 every particle size according to the electric mobility; and a Faraday cup ammeter 6 counting the number concentration classified every particle size with differential electric mobility classifier 5. The fine liquid drop producing device 3 has an electric spray device 8 forming fine liquid drops from liquid in a charged state; and an atomization device 13 making float a charged fine liquid drop group formed in fine liquid drops with the electric splay device 8 in the carrier gas.
