PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent generation of secondary damage such as melting of a vaporizer and disconnection of a heater when the temperature of the vaporizer is increased due to a trouble of a driving system for driving a heater of the vaporizer in a vaporizing type oil combustion device. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a leak protector 14 and a dummy leak circuit connecting the primary side and the secondary side of the leak protector 14 via a switching element. When an abnormal temperature rise of the vaporizer 4 is detected by a temperature detecting device 2, the dummy leak circuit is turned ON to operate the leak protector 14. Since the vaporizer to be a fundamental part of the oil combustion device is stopped by the trouble of the driving system of the heater of the vaporizer without damaging the vaporizer, cost and maintenance property are remarkably improved.
