PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end cap-type ball screw device suitable for miniaturization, having a simple structure for endlessly circulating a ball, reducing the number of components, and simplifying the machining in manufacturing. SOLUTION: In this ball screw device composed of a screw shaft 1 provide with a spiral ball rolling groove 10 on an outer peripheral face with a predetermined lead, and a nut member 4 having a through hole for penetrating the screw shaft 1, having an approximately cylindrical shape, provided with a spiral load rolling groove 42 located oppositely to the ball rotating groove 10 of the screw shaft 1 to form a spiral load ball passage, and engaged with the screw shaft 1 through a number of balls 2, an open groove 47 is formed on an end face of a nut member 4 vertical to the axial direction of the screw shaft 1, and a donut-shaped flat member 5 covering the open groove 47 is fixed to an end face of the nut member 4, whereby the endless circulating passage of the ball 2 is formed.
