PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splash preventing member which can be attached to/detached from a toilet bowl with great ease, and toilet bowl equipment which is equipped with the splash preventing member. SOLUTION: This splash preventing member 1 is equipped with: a tie plate 2 which is composed of a synthetic resin with elasticity allowing curvature or rubber; and a fin part 3 which is provided protrusively from both longitudinal ends of the tie plate 2 in a direction perpendicular to one plate surface of the tie plate 2. The tie plate 2 is equipped with a protrusive streak 4 which is extended in the longitudinal direction of the tie plate 2 along the vicinity of an intermediate part in the width direction of one plate surface of the tie plate 2; and in the protrusive streak 4, there is buried a thin rod-shaped metal core material 5 such as a piano wire, which is more elastic than a component for the tie plate 2. The member 1, which is curved in an approximate U-shape, is mounted on a western style toilet bowl 10 along an upper inside corner edge of the rim 11 so that the protrusive streak 4 and the fin part 3 can be superposed on a top surface of a rim 11, and so that a part, on the downside of the protrusive streak 4, of the die plate 2 can be superposed on an inner peripheral surface of the rim 11.
