PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the certainty of detection of a human body when an automatic faucet is adopted as an oscillating faucet fitting. SOLUTION: This automatic faucet is provided with a human body detecting sensor which comprises: light emitters 4a which are composed of three light- emitting diodes (LED) arranged equally around water discharge openings 3a and 3b formed at an end of a faucet water discharge part 2; and photo detectors 4b which are composed of two position sensitive detectors (PSD). The human body detecting sensor comprises: the light emitters 4a which are arranged in a dispersed state; and the photo detectors 4b which have large light receiving surfaces. Thus, since a human body detecting region R is extended, a user's hand can be accurately and rapidly detected when held out to the discharge part 2 from any direction. Since the region R can be set by being divided into a plurality of places, a malfunction can be inhibited from occurring because the region R overlaps a water spraying region, even if a shower water discharge opening 3b and a large water spraying surface are provided.
