PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-transparent mirror transmissivity variable element capable of freely varying a see-through function and a mirror function without requiring a back light or an illuminator. SOLUTION: The semi-transparent mirror transmissivity variable element is provided with a half mirror layer 4 on at least one of the substrate sides of a transparent element 3 having a dimming layer 2 where a light transmission quantity is varied by application of voltage and two light-transmissive conductor substrates 1 and 1' arranged on both of the sides of the dimming layer. |
