<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal supporting structure to prevent nonconformity by certainly transmitting operational force to a push rod at the time of normal operation of a pedal arm and by revolving and operating a pedal to the car body front side at the time of receiving an excessive load. SOLUTION: The pedal supporting structure of a vehicle supporting an upper end of the pedal arm through a pedal shaft on a pedal hanger installed on a car body and connecting the push rod of a master cylinder set in an engine room to the middle of this pedal arm is constituted by axially supporting one end part of a first link 12 in the middle of the pedal arm 1a, axially supporting the other end part of this first link 12 on one end part of a second link 13 one end of which is engaged with the pedal shaft 5, connecting the push rod 11 to an intermediate position of the first link 12 and free to release an engagement part of the other end part of the second link 13 from the pedal shaft at the time when the pedal hanger 3 relatively moves against the car body mounting part side in accordance with an excessive input load from the car body front side.</p> |
