PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of operation to adjust a vertical screen position by preventing longitudinal trapezoidal distortion from being generated when the vertical screen position is adjusted. SOLUTION: When a reflecting mirror 41 is moved obliquely (from F to E) toward the back of a housing 60, image light incident on the reflecting mirror 41 shifts in incidence position upward and the position reflected by the reflecting mirror 41 shifts upward. The image light projected on the back side of a screen 50 from the reflecting mirror 41, therefore, moves up. A display picture displayed on the front of a screen 50 moves up without having longitudinal trapezoidal distortion.
