PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lens barrel whose cam member having a lead cam groove for moving a lens supporting frame in an optical axis direction can be accurately manufactured without causing an undercut by molding with a metallic mold, and optical equipment having the lens barrel. SOLUTION: In this lens barrel, the lens supporting frame having a cam follower abutting on the lead cam grove by turning the cam member formed by molding with the metallic mold and provided with the lead cam groove, is moved in the optical axis direction, and the cam member is moved in the optical axis direction at the time of turning, and then the moving amount of the lens supporting frame is set to the sum of the moving amount by the lead can groove and the moving amount of the cam member.
