PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel adjusting tool which can adjust the position and tilt of the optical axis of a lens group on an optical-axis orthogonal plane and has a simple structure. SOLUTION: At a fixing tool part of the lens barrel adjusting tool 50, an adjusting tool part is supported, which comprises a Y stage 33 capable of sliding along a Y axis, an X stage 34 capable of sliding along an X axis, and a rotary stage 37 capable of rotating on the optical axis O, is supported. To the rotary stage 37, an adjusting frame support 40, which detachably supports an adjusting frame 17 holding a 1st-group lens 21, is fixed. On the other hand, a lens barrel 20 in which 2nd- and 3rd-group lenses 22 and 23 except the 1st-group lens 21 are incorporated, is mounted on the fixing tool part and the respective stages are moved and operated to adjust the position of the adjusting frame 17 on the adjusting support 40 on an XY plane and the tilt in the direction of the optical axis O, thereby adjusting the optical axis.
