PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the generation of the overshoot of a hot water temperature wherein a temperature of the hot water from a heat exchanger becomes higher than a hot water target temperature. SOLUTION: A control means H executes the normal control processing for controlling a fuel supply condition adjusting means N and a fan 4 on the basis of the predetermined setting relationship to obtain the proper target fuel supply quantity and the proper ventilation quantity by a fan 4 on each of plural stages of a combustion burner part in a condition that more the target fuel supply quantity is, the more the number of combustion burner parts kept in the fuel supply condition is. When the number of the combustion burner parts kept in the fuel supply condition is switched to a decrease side, the correction control processing is executed for controlling the fuel supply condition adjusting means H and the fan 4 on the basis of the corrected setting relationship obtained by correcting the ventilation quantity by the fan 4 to an increase side, to the target fuel supply quantity in the setting relationship.
