PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material producing device and a method therefor that can produce various kinds of coating materials of needed colors in needed amounts at painting sites or at retail stores. SOLUTION: The device 100 is equipped with a control unit 102 and a processor 202. A computer 104 for controlling the control unit 102 memorizes the control data and includes a control unit 106 for calculating by using the control data, an input unit 108, a display unit 110 and an output unit 112. A computer 204 for processing the processor 202 memorizes the processing data and is equipped with a processing unit 206 for calculating by using the processing data, an input unit 208, a display unit 210 and an output unit 212. The control unit 102 and the processor unit 202 are connected through the Internet.
