THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND MOLDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition excellent in moldability, and mechanical properties to provide a method of manufacturing the same and a molding material. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic elastomer composition comprises (1) a thermoplastic urethane elastomer having a diol of a specific structure as a chain- lengthening agent and (2) a thermoplastic elastomer having a hardness in a specific range. A thermoplastic elastomer composition having an island section, the average length of which is controlled in a specific range, is obtained by adding a compound having an isocyanate group concentration in a specific range, when (1) and (2) are mixed.
