PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thixotropic composition having excellent adhesion, grindability and operability, capable of providing a beautiful coated surface, and suitably usable as putty to a Mg alloy or the like. SOLUTION: This thixotropic composition comprises (A) an epoxy resin having a polyphenol skeleton and at least one epoxy group in one molecule, (B) a tris(carboamino-substituted) triazine and/or a blocked isocyanate having an active methylene compound as a blocking agent, and (C) a pigment, and has 7-10 thixotropic index.
