PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container optimal loading method high in practicability capable of easily setting a loading balance to the optimum when containers of various weight are loaded longitudinally and laterally on a vehicle load carrying platform. SOLUTION: This container optimal loading method to the vehicle lead carrying platform to load the containers to that a computed unbalanced load rate in the forwarding direction is within a specified rate and a computed unbalanced load rate in the car width direction can be held within a specified ratio by computing a moment load Wi .i multiplying a total load Wi of the container in a line separated forward by (i) lines from a center of a load carrying platform by (i), computing a moment load W-i .i multiplying a total load W-i of the container of a line separated backward by the (i) lines from the center of the load carrying platform, computing an unbalanced load rate in the forwarding direction which is a ratio against sum (ΣWi .i+ΣW-i .i) of both of a difference|ΣWi .i-ΣW-i .i|of both of a total sumΣWi-i .i of the moment load of the front side from the center of the load carrying platform and a total sumΣW-i .i the moment load of the rear side from the center of the load carrying platform and computing the car width direction unbalanced load rate in the same way.
