PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop heat pipe of high performance that stably circulates an operating fluid in a fixed direction in a closed loop, while completely preventing the contraflow of steam. SOLUTION: This loop heat pipe comprises: a condensing part thermally connected to a cooling means; an evaporating part thermally connected to a cooled body; a steam passage communicating the condensing part with the evaporating part and allowing steam to flow inside; a condensate passage communicating the condensing part with the evaporating part and allowing condensate to flow inside; a fluid reservoir part provided in the condensate passage, for preventing the contraflow of steam by collecting the condensate along a vertical direction and discharging the condensate along the vertical direction to close the condensate passage; and the operating fluid filled inside. |
