<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire feeder with a brake having a simple constitution and capable of facilitating an adjustment work of a braking force. SOLUTION: This wire feeder with the brake is so formed that, when a force in the direction of an arrow B is applied to a band 4 as shown in Figure 5 (a), the band 4 is radially expanded and a friction force application part 3 is detached from a brake drum 2 so as to weaken the braking force and, when a force in the direction of an arrow D is applied to the band 4 as shown in Figure 5 (b), the band 4 is radially contracted and the friction force application part 3 press-contacts the brake drum 2 so as to strengthen the braking force.</p> |
