<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with work for rescrewing an external thread of a hot water or cold water supply pipe connecting port part, until a pipe joint for connecting a water mixing valve reaches a required position, and easily absorb lengthwise displacements of the external threads at tail ends of the hot water and cold water supply pipes. SOLUTION: This pipe joint 1 for connecting the water mixing valve is equipped with first and second pipe joint members 2 and 3. The hot water or cold water supply pipe connecting port part 21 with the external thread 21a is provided on the side of a back end of the horizontal cylinder-shaped member 2. The member 3 is composed of: a turning cylindrical part 31 which is fitted into the member 2 and made to cover the member 2, in a turnable and longitudinally movable manner; an outward protruding cylindrical part 32 which is provided in a peripheral wall of the cylindrical part 31 in a state of protruding outward; and a water mixing valve connecting port part 33 which is extended forward while continuing into an end side of the cylindrical part 32. The pipe joint 1 is provided with fitting parts 312 and 24 which are mutually fitted into a back end of an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 31 and a back end of a turning-cylindrical-part lengthwise-movement area 2X on an outer peripheral surface of the member 2, so as to inhibit the turning of the cylindrical part 31.</p> |
