PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite sash capable of easily mounting a protective plate used for preventing the damage of part of wood on the surface of the outdoor side of a sash frame by wind and rain in the composite sash using the wood as basic materials. SOLUTION: In the composite sash formed by combining wooden frame members with each other to form the sash frame in the shape of a frame body and mounting a protective member on the surface of the outdoor side of the sash frame to cover the surface of the outdoor side of the sash frame with the protective member, the protective member includes a glass holding member 100 mounted on the surface of the outdoor side of the frame members in parallel with the inside circumferential edge of each of the frame members over the overall length of the frame members in order to fix and support glass 65 fitted into the sash frame, a locking section 61c formed in the same length as that of each of the frame members and locked with the glass holding member and locking sections 61a and 61b locked with the surface on the outdoor side of the frame members, and the composite sash includes the protective plate 60 for covering the surface on the outdoor side of the frame members by locking with the glass holding member 10 and the surface on the outdoor side of the frame members.
