PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open-close device for a storage body such as a glove box. SOLUTION: In the open-close device for the storage body B supported to a supporter P in an openable and closeable manner, the open-close device has an operating member 8 installed on the storage body B side, a sliding member 2 worked by operating the operating member 8 and hook members 4 engaged or disengaged with or from the supporter P side by operating the sliding member 2. In the open-close device, the sliding member 2 is molded in a size extended in the front width direction of the storage body B and mounted on the front side of the storage body B vertically movably, and each hook member 4 secured to the sliding member 2 is engaged on both sides of the supporter P respectively and the storage body B is locked at the place of the closing of the storage body when the sliding member 2 is moved upwards in relationship, in which a pair of the hook members 4 are set up on both sides of the upper section of the sliding member 2 formed in the size extended in the front width direction of the storage body B, by fitting the hook members 4 on both sides of the upper section of the sliding member 2 in the hook members 4.
