PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film transferring device having reversing preventing mechanism, having a reliably working ratchet function, reducing the generation of a ratchet noise during use, and also easy to manage quality. SOLUTION: A feed reel 13 and a winding reel 14 are disposed in a case with a front end being opened. A transfer head 6 is protruded through the opening and after a transfer tape 15 fed from a feed reel 13 is reversed at the tip of the transfer head 6, and the transfer tape is wound by a winding reel 14 driven by transferring rotation torque of the feed reel 13 is transmitted through a feed gear 7 and a winding gear 8. In the so constituted film transferring device 1, a ratchet tooth part 16 having an engaging tooth 16a facing the inside in a radial direction is situated in a state to be a concentric circle to the winding gear 8. A ratchet claw 17 facing the outside in a radial direction and engaged with the ratchet tooth part 16 is situated on the under surface of the feed gear 7 or the winding gear 8.
