PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail device, enabling aged people and disabled persons to simply move the handrail at need and simultaneously put their both hands thereon and lean forward to raise the upper part of the body in a bathroom, a toilet room or a bedroom. SOLUTION: This handrail device includes a first handrail 8a formed like a bar to be installed on a vertical surface 29 of a building, a support part 4 cylindrically provided in the periphery of the first handrail 8a to rotate, a second handrail 7 extended like a rod from the support part 4, a locking part 2 cylindrically provided in the periphery of the first handrail 8a with a stopper 3 for limiting the rotation of the support part 4, and a holding part 6 for preventing the support part 4 from moving in the longitudinal direction of the first handrail 8a. |
