PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink tank structure for reducing the quantity of ink remaining in an ink tank. SOLUTION: An ink channel 27 communicating with the ink chamber 30 of an ink tank 1 and an ink take-out hole 7 is provided with a protrusion 36 projecting into the ink chamber 30 wherein a take-out side interconnecting opening is provided at the forward end of the protrusion 36. Furthermore, a cup-like cap 31 is provided to cover the protrusion 36. A gap 45 for sucking ink is formed between the cup-like cap 31 and the protrusion 36. Even if ink in the ink chamber 30 is decreased and the ink level drops below the take-out side interconnecting opening at the forward end of the protrusion 36, ink in the ink chamber 30 can be sucked entirely up to the bottom face of the ink chamber 30. |
