PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger allowing lightweight and low-cost support structure, while securing a certain degree of freedom of a set position to a fitting part. SOLUTION: This heat exchanger has: a core part 110 with side plates 113 disposed on both outermost sides of a plurality of alternately stacked tubes 111 and fins 112; a pair of header tanks 120, 130 disposed at both longitudinal end parts of the tubes 111; cover members 140 for closing opening parts 121, 131 at the longitudinal end parts of the header tanks 120, 130; and rod-like pins 150 provided at the cover members 140 and fitted into the prescribed fitting parts. The cover member 140 is integrally formed of a plate member having an extension part 142 extended in the longitudinal direction of the side plate 113 while abutting on the outer side end parts 113a of the side plate 113 of the core part 110, and the pin 150 is provided at the extension part 142.
