PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat fixing-device that has excellent ability to separate even a recording material having no empty space at its leading end and fixes developer on a transfer material under heat and pressure. SOLUTION: In the speed at which the leading end of a transfer material is carried through the rear end of a nip between a heat roller and a pressure roller, a component (Vpp) that is the same direction as a tangent to the rear end of the nip of the heat roller has a speed difference of 1 to 7% relative to the rotating speed (Vfr) of the heat roller.
