PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure a storage space and reduce a transporting cost for a return by devising a container to be thinner when it is folded. SOLUTION: An upper rim of an upper long side plate 5 is pivoted to a rim of a longer side of an upper frame 1 via a first spindle 71 to couple the upper long side plate 5 foldably inward. A lower rim of a lower long side plate 6 is pivoted to a rim of a longer side of a bottom plate 2 via a second spindle 72 to couple the lower long side plate 6 foldably inward. A lower rim of the upper long side plate 5 and an upper rim of the lower long side plate 6 are pivoted to each other via a third spindle 73 to couple foldably inward. In a structure thus constituted, the upper long side plate 5 is formed in a shape to be fitted into the lower long side plate 6, the third spindle 73 is provided to position approximately at the center in a thickness direction of the upper long side plate 5 and the lower long side plate 6, and the first spindle 71 and the second spindle 72 are provided at such positions that they do not interfere with each other when the plates 5 and 6 are folded to fit with each other.
