PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of possible occurrence of oil exhaustion in a compressor due to taking out refrigerating machine oil much outside a sealed vessel since a refrigerant and the refrigerating machine oil are hardly separated in a conventional compressor. SOLUTION: This compressor is provided with a compression mechanism part housed in the sealed vessel, and delivering the refrigerant sucked in from the outside of the sealed vessel to a delivery space in the sealed vessel by compressing the refrigerant, an electric motor part arranged in a first space in the sealed vessel on the shaft directional opposite side of the delivery space to the compression mechanism part, composed of a stator and a rotor, and driving the compression mechanism part via a main shaft, a delivery pipe arranged in the sealed vessel, and opening in the first space, a compression mechanism part outer peripheral side passage arranged on the outer peripheral side of the compression mechanism part, and communicating the delivery space with the first space, and a fan arranged in a first space side end part of the rotor. The refrigerant delivered to the delivery space is introduced to the first space via the compression mechanism part outer peripheral side passage, and is discharged outside the sealed vessel after passing through the fan.
