PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilizing cleanser which has an excellent sterilizing property and can efficiently remove oil or fat stains or the like on medical equipment such as artificial dialyzers, their peripheral equipment, and instruments without forming a water-insoluble salt such as a calcium salt. SOLUTION: This sterilizing cleanser for the medical equipment contains (A) an active chlorine compound such as sodium hypochlorite and (B) a nonionic surfactant.
