PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the printing quality of a printer by improving the positioning accuracy of a platen roller and a printing head. SOLUTION: The printer 10 comprises a printing head 17 provided on the housing 11 side, and a platen roller 18 provided on the lid member 14 side. A printing head supporting member 30 for supporting the printing head 17 is provided rotatably on the housing 11 side via a head rotation shaft 33 so as to be forced to the platen roller 18 side by a head forcing spring 31. A lock lever 25a for positioning the platen roller 18 is rotated with a platen shaft 24 serving as the fulcrum so as to be engaged with the head rotation shaft 33 at the time the lid member 14 is in a closed state, for positioning the platen roller 18. |
