PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily align respective incident face side end parts of many optical fibers so as to correspond to respective exit face side end parts at the time of inserting each of optical fibers into an optical fiber inserting hole of an optical fiber supporting body at the time of manufacturing a light transmission body consisting of a plurality of optical fibers for enlarging an image displayed on a liquid crystal display panel. SOLUTION: An optical fiber supporting block 1 is formed by laminating optical fiber supporting layers consisting of ultraviolet curing resin layers or sheet-like paper and a plurality of optical fiber inserting holes 4 are formed in each optical fiber supporting layer. Each optical fiber 5 is inserted into each optical fiber inserting hole 4 of the block 1.
