PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a current fuel injection pump that a generated reflected wave is sealed in a high-pressure pipe and residual pressure is left in a high-pressure passage system after injecting fuel, to generate unevenness and instability when injecting the fuel. SOLUTION: In this accumulator distribution type fuel injection pump 1, high-pressure fuel accumulated in an accumulator chamber 31 is supplied to a distribution shaft 9 through a first high-pressure passage 76 connected to an injection control valve 26, distributed to a second high-pressure passage 77 of each cylinder by the distribution shaft 9, and injected by high pressure from an injection valve 29 through the second high-pressure passage 77, a delivery part and the high-pressure pipe 78 in order. The diameter of the delivery part is formed smaller than that of the second high-pressure passage 78, and the delivery part is formed of a check valve 18 formed with a small hole 51c for always communicating the second high-pressure passage 77 and the high- pressure pipe 78 with each other.
