PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a current accumulator distribution type fuel injection pump that pressure inside an accumulator chamber is fluctuated by the influence of a reflected wave or the like after finishing an injection and closing an injection control valve and that a pressure pulse is generated to hinder an accurate injection control. SOLUTION: In this accumulator distribution type fuel injection pump, functional members such as a plunger 7, a pressure control valve 27, the injection control valve 26, the accumulator chamber 31 and a distribution shaft 9 are arranged in a hydraulic head Hb, and high-pressure fuel accumulated in the accumulator chamber 31 is distributed to each cylinder by the distribution shaft 9. A reduction valve 50 as a check valve with an orifice 50c is provided in an inlet part of the fuel injection control valve 26 connected to the accumulator chamber 31.
