FUEL CONTROL DEVICE OF GAS TURBINE ENGINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel control device for compensating real-time thermodynamic influences of a gas turbine engine. SOLUTION: This fuel control device is used when NDOT- Actual ratio is made to match or follow NDOT- Demand ratio, and includes a mechanism for measuring several engine actuating parameters, and a mechanism for deciding initial engine fuel demand based on the measured engine actuating parameters. The fuel control device also includes a mechanism, which estimates amount of heat moving between combustion gas of the fuel and an engine metal part based on the measured actuating parameters during operation of an engine and estimates effective fuel flow adjustment based on the estimated amount of heat. The device includes a mechanism for deciding final engine fuel demand based on an initially estimated engine fuel demand and the estimated effective fuel flow adjustment.
