An image pickup lens includes a lens body 1 which meets the following conditions: <DF>(1) <FENCE TYPE=BAR>r1</FENCE> > <FENCE TYPE=BAR>r2</FENCE> </DF> <DF>(2) <FENCE TYPE=BAR>r1</FENCE> > 1.5 x f1 </DF> wherein r1 is a radius of curvature of a central portion of a first face of the lens body; r2 is a radius of curvature of a central portion of a second face of the lens body; and f1 is a focal length of the entire lens system. Thus, even when the thickness of a central portion of the lens is varied, the variation in back focal length can be suppressed to the minimum, and the image pickup lens is suitable for a non-adjusted optical system. <IMAGE> |
