<p>A production planning method and system are provided wherein, in a production planning method for the production of two or more products within the same period, demand fluctuations can be accommodated smoothly, without large modifications of the production plan, and without maintaining excessive inventory. A first production plan is established for a long production plan period which is longer than the longest procurement period, and the long production plan period of the first production plan established above is divided into two or more short production plan periods, which are longer than the shortest procurement period and shorter than the longest procurement period, and second production plans are established for each short production plan period longer than the above shortest procurement period and shorter than the longest procurement period. <IMAGE></p> |
