PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treating agent dissolution equipment which reliably dissolves a powdery polymer coagulant at an appropriate concentration. SOLUTION: A feeder 12 is arranged on the bottom part of a hopper 10 and the polymer coagulant of a predetermined quantity is dropped therefrom. A belt conveyor 14 is arranged on the under part of the feeder 12 and a scraper 16 is arranged above the end part of the belt conveyor 14. Further, a first mixing tank 22 is arranged on the down side of the end part of the belt conveyor 14. The belt conveyor 14 is operated at a constant speed, a feed quantity of the feeder 12 and a height of the scraper 16 are controlled by a computing element 40 in accordance with feed water quantity to the first mixing tank 22 and, thereby, the dissolution of the polymer coagulant at an exact concentration is attained.
