SMALL DAMP TOWEL, METHOD FOR FORMING THE SMALL DAMP TOWEL AND APPARATUS FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide small damp towels which are included with just enough moisture equally over their entire surfaces and look excellent. SOLUTION: A continuous sheet of nonwoven fabric cloth of a folded or rolled form having perforations at every prescribed interval is tensed between two pairs of contact rolls 20A and 20B; 32A and 32B, by which the continuous sheet is formed to sheet pieces. The sheet pieces are two-folded between a first pair of folding drums 34 and 36 mid-way in a feed direction by a first folding arrow 40. The drum 34 has a second folding arrow 46 and the two-folded sheet pieces are given folding seams by a second folding arrow 46 and are further two-folded between a second pair of folding drums 36 and 38, by which the sheet pieces are total four-folded. The sheet pieces are taken out as the small damp towels.
