PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe shield assembly capable of being easily operated from an open position to a closed position with respect to a needle. SOLUTION: The safe shield needle assembly 10 has a needle holder, the needle 12 extending from the needle holder, the shield 18 connected to the needle holder in a freely rotatable manner and rotated toward the needle, a finger pad for pressing the shield toward the needle and a thumb inclining part adjacent to the finger pad in order to ensure the proper position of the hand with respect to the needle. This safe shield needle assembly 10 is preferably used with respect to a needle assembly, a vein injection set, a syringe, a catheter, other fluid handling device or an assembly including a pierce element. |
