PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cleaner wherein the attachment or detachment of a water cleaning cartridge to or from the body of the water cleaner can be facilitated. SOLUTION: The water cleaner is one wherein a water cleaning cartridge 3 is fitted in a freely attachable or detachable manner to a cartridge holder 2 provided in the body 1 of a water cleaner, tap water supplied into the body 1 is cleaned with the cartridge 3, and the cleaned water is delivered from the body 1 and wherein connection port members 4 are disposed on the surfaces of the opposite ends of the holder 2 in a manner capable of freely advancing and retracting in the direction of opposition, and an operation means that operates the advancement or retraction of the members 4 into or from the holder 2 is provided.
