PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional drinking water production apparatus is inconvenient for transportation and lacks in immediacy because of its large size, is troublesome in respect of means for supplying raw water because raw water is previously stored in a cistern or a tank, and necessitates a driving power source, such as private-electric-generator-type motor pump or a large-handle hand pump, for supplying raw water into filter modules. SOLUTION: This apparatus has a structure in which an organic matter adsorption bacterial control apparatus comprising hollow fibers and activated carbon and a pH control bacterial control apparatus comprising an ion exchanger and hollow fibers are respectively enclosed in a cartridge, tablets for adding disinfecting chlorine are packed into the cartridge, raw water flowing from a coupler is passed through a pressure reducing valve, and raw water at a constant pressure is fed to the cartridge so as to be used by connection to the pump delivery port of a fire-fighting vehicle. Therefore, the apparatus can supply drinking water by direct connection to, for example, a fire-fighting vehicle in a disaster or an emergency.
