Disclosed herein is a composition comprising:(A) a lubricant, and(B) at least one 1,3,4-oxadiazole compound of the formula:whereinwherein R1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, linear or branched alkyl, alkenyl, alkaryl, aryl, alkyl ether, and alkyl ester;R2, R3, and R4 are independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, linear or branched alkyl, alkenyl, alkaryl, and aryl; andany alkyl moiety can optionally contain within it oxygen ether, ester, or amide groups.
