FIELD: civil engineering, construction of foundations of tanks containing liquefied gases under low temperatures. SUBSTANCE: foundation of isothermal tank includes upper and lower plates interacting through system of pillars. Salient feature of proposal consists in that upper plate has form of truncated cone with cover possessing holes above which deflectors are positioned, side surface of upper plate has branch pipes for air supply and circulation. Lower plate has diameter exceeding diameter of upper plate. Walls- stiffening diaphragms are installed between plates, in the center and over edges. EFFECT: provision for strength and stability of foundation in seismically risky areas, protection of ground in foundation from freezing. 2 dwg |
