PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toothbrush which is equipped with bristles being excellent in durability, and at the same time, of which the bristle standing state is favorable. SOLUTION: For this toothbrush, on the flocking surface of the head section 4, a plurality of bristles 1 are fixed. In such a toothbrush, the bristle 1 comprises a polytrimethylene terephthalate, and also, the thickness of the bristle 1 is set to be 0.12 mm to 0.26 mm. Also, a packing factor when the bristles are flocked is set to be 60% to 100%.
