PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the vibration damping rate by slightly reducing the flexibility of the shaft part of a tennis racket made of FRP while increasing the rigidity thereof for reducing the impact transmission rate to the grip part. SOLUTION: In the tennis racket in which the frame part 1 and the shaft part 2 are made of a fiber-reinforced synthetic resin and the shaft part is formed being branched to the frame part in a fork from the grip part 3, a pair of lightweight metal part pieces 4a and 4b made of aluminum or the like with a U-shaped cross section extended up to both side parts of the shaft parts 2a and 2b branched off in a fork from the inside of the grip part at the connection part of the grip part 3 and the shaft part 2 are mounted on the shaft part 2. |
