PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a metal crown reducing a burden at a treating site by facilitating the correction of bite shape while providing basic bite shape with a crown bite part molding material. SOLUTION: Only the top part of a model foundation 1 formed from a foundation 8 on a tooth root is crowned with a crown bite part molding material 10 formed of a thermoplastic plastic film 10' of crown shape, and a soft wax layer 14' is formed between the top face of the model foundation 1 and a covering part 12 having the bite shape 11 of the molding material 10 which covers the top face. The bite shape 11 is corrected by deforming the soft wax layer 14' while thermally deforming the local part of the covering part 12 with the bite shape 11 with a heated trowel 23. The outer peripheral surface of the model foundation 1 not crowned with the molding material 10 is covered with a wax form part 15' to form a crown forming composite material 16 integral with the molding material 10. A metallic material is substituted for the crown forming composite material 16 to manufacture the metal crown. |
