PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a design coating method by which a design pattern such as woodgrain pattern, stone grain pattern is imparted to a base material such as plastic or wood by an efficient method which is preferable in terms of environmental sanitation. SOLUTION: The design coating method comprises a process for imparting energizing property by energizing the surface of the base material, a process for forming a coating film by applying an ultraviolet curing-type powder coating on a base material and heating to melt the powder coating after coating, a process for curing the coating film by irradiating the coating film with ultraviolet ray and a process for printing a design on the cured coating film. |
