PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide furniture for a physically handicapped person such as a cabinet, a cupboard and a chest of drawers which can be utilized by the physically handicapped person while he rides a wheelchair. SOLUTION: A pole 3 is arranged in the up and down direction along the front face of the furniture provided with a plurality of drawers 2 and horizontal grips 4 are respectively provided on the front boards 5 of the drawers and the pole is set at a position where it is kept out of the way of operation of the drawers and it is close to the grips.
